2010 Election Results 

As you know by now, the election results are in and the incumbents were re-elected, as expected.  In 2009, the Developer and the Developer-controlled Board together controlled over 72% of all votes cast.  In 2010, that number was over 74%.  No surprise that challengers are unable to break through!

The formal announcement of the results as posted on the Club website (https://www.worldmarktheclub.com/news/10.11.23_electionresultsdetails.shtml ) show the breakdown including proxies.  They do not tell you that the Board-held proxies were voted 50% for Henley and 50% for Herrick; the proxies received by other candidates are owner-controlled proxies.  This announcement also does not disclose that what they call “Owner Points Voted” includes 151,056 Developer votes, which we can only assume were cast 75,528 for each of the incumbents.  Here is a more detailed analysis of the election results.  Proxies to the incumbents (Henley and Herrick) were Board-controlled proxies, so we have deducted them from "Owner Vote Incl. Proxies" to reach the "Real Owner Vote".  Proxies to other candidates were owner-controlled proxies, so we have left them in the "Real Owner Vote".
