2010 -- HERE WE GO AGAIN! A big thanks to my supporters who have stuck with me through the years. Here we go again ... my name will again be on the ballot for the WorldMark the Club Board of Directors in the 2010 election. Perhaps the old saying is true, and the third time will be the charm. I am running for the Board because I am deeply concerned about the appearance of impropriety in the composition and voting record of the current Board. As you cast your vote in the 2010 WorldMark board election, please consider the following. Why has the Board never challenged the Developer on the issue of ever-increasing credit values for new resorts? Why won't the Board tell us how many condo units the Developer books for its own use or public rental, and under what programs? Why is our Annual Owner Meeting run like an advertisement for Wyndham Vacation Ownership instead of an opportunity for owners to discuss Club business and issues? Why does the Board not object to the high sales pressure inflicted on owners at OUR resorts? Why does the Board work so hard to prevent communication between owners? Why has no Developer-affiliated Director ever been defeated in an election? Why are several members of the current Board being sued for failing to protect the best interests of members? Why were Developer votes and Board proxies used to defeat me in the last two elections, despite overwhelming Owner votes in my favor? Why, in this Information Age, are candidate/owner communications limited to 350 words on the web site and 150 printed words, submitted five months prior to the election? It is because of these and many more concerns that I am again running for the WorldMark Board. I encourage you to take a hard look at the current composition of the Board and the impact of recent changes to our Club, and to make an informed decision on which candidate will best protect your interests as an owner. I am passionate about owner rights and about ensuring that the Board of Directors maintains the highest ethical standards. I have no ties to or financial interests in any organizations that could cause anyone to question my motivations. If elected, I will always place the rights and interests of the owners above all others. It would be an honor to serve as your representative on the WorldMark Board, and I humbly ask for your vote.
